What You Will Do

• Provide high-quality personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting, always maintaining dignity and respect
• Support residents with daily living tasks such as meals, medication prompts, and light household duties
• Deliver compassionate companionship, helping reduce loneliness and maintain wellbeing
• Carry out regular wellbeing checks to ensure residents remain safe and comfortable
• Work within an assisted living setting where residents are independent but require tailored support
• Follow all care plans, safeguarding, and health & safety procedures
• Contribute positively to a supportive and professional team environment

What We Are Looking For

• Experience essential: Previous experience working with elderly individuals, particularly those living with dementia and other health conditions
• Flexible availability: Able to work 11-hour shifts across both days and nights, including alternate weekends
• Compassionate nature: Patient, understanding, and committed to delivering person-centred care
• Strong communication skills: Able to build trust with residents and provide reassurance
• Team player: Reliable and supportive of colleagues in a fast-paced environment
• Local candidates preferred: Applicants should live within or near Netherton/Sefton (especially important for non-drivers)
• Willingness to complete required background checks
